If you're driving from anywhere in Lanarkshire, start by getting onto the M74 motorway. Follow signs for the M74 towards Carlisle. After approximately 20 miles, take exit 13 for the A72 toward Larkhall. Continue on the A72 for about 10 miles until you reach the A7 junction. Turn left onto the A7 and continue for approximately 15 miles. You will pass through several small towns. Sunderland Hall will be located on your right side, just after crossing the River Tweed. Make sure to look for signposts as you approach the area.
