Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Blackpool. Use the M6 motorway, exiting at junction 32 to join the M55 towards Blackpool. Continue on the M55 until it ends, at which point it will merge into the A583. Follow the A583 towards the town center of Blackpool. As you reach the seafront, turn right onto the Promenade. Central Pier will be on your left at the address Promenade, Blackpool FY1 5BB. Look for parking options along the seafront or in nearby car parks, which may incur a parking fee.

  To reach Central Pier by train, take a train to Blackpool North station. From there, exit the station and head south towards the Promenade. You can either walk, which takes about 15-20 minutes, or catch a local bus. If you choose to walk, turn left onto the A6010, continuing straight until you reach the Promenade. Once you reach the seafront, turn right and walk along the Promenade until you reach Central Pier, located at FY1 5BB.   You can also take a bus to Central Pier from various locations in Lancashire. If you're in Preston, for example, take the number 89 bus towards Blackpool. This bus will take you directly to the Blackpool Bus Station. From the bus station, it’s a short walk to the Promenade. Head towards the seafront, and once you reach the Promenade, turn right and walk until you arrive at Central Pier at FY1 5BB. Bus fares vary, so check the service provider for current prices.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Lancashire to Central Pier. Taxis are available in most towns and cities, and the fare will depend on your starting point. Ensure to specify the destination as Promenade, Blackpool FY1 5BB. This option is more convenient if you are traveling with a group or have luggage, but it may be pricier than public transport.
