Upon arrival at York station, exit the station and head straight down Station Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with George Hudson Street. Cross the road and continue walking straight onto Skeldergate. Turn left onto the Ouse Bridge and cross the River Ouse. Once on the other side, turn right and follow the path along the river until you come to a large roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto St. Leonard's Place. Continue walking straight, and you will see the Minster's impressive towers ahead of you. Follow the signs to Minster Yard, which is located directly next to York Minster.

To travel from Leeds to Minster Yard in York by bus, make your way to the Leeds City Bus Station, located near the train station. Look for buses that go to York – National Express and local services operate on this route. Purchase your ticket from the driver or ticket machine. The bus journey will take approximately 1 hour. When you arrive at York's bus station, exit and head towards your right on Station Road. Walk straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with George Hudson Street. Cross the road and continue walking straight onto Skeldergate. Turn left onto the Ouse Bridge and cross the River Ouse. After crossing, turn right and walk along the riverbank until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto St. Leonard's Place, and continue walking straight until you see the stunning towers of York Minster. Minster Yard is right next to it.
