Getting There

  • Train

    If you're starting from Liverpool Lime Street Station, take a train towards Liverpool South Parkway. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Wavertree Technology Park station. From the station, walk west on the footpath towards Edge Lane (A5047). Cross the road when you reach it, and continue walking straight. Wavertree Botanic Gardens will be on your left after about 15 minutes of walking.

  • Bus

    From Liverpool city centre, head to the nearest bus stop on Lime Street. Take the bus number 82 or 86 towards Wavertree. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Edge Lane / Wavertree Gardens'. From there, walk back a short distance and you will see the entrance to Wavertree Botanic Gardens on your right.

    If you're close to the city centre, you can walk to Wavertree Botanic Gardens. Head south on Bold Street, then continue straight onto Edge Lane. Walk for about 40 minutes, and you will find Wavertree Botanic Gardens on your left. It’s a pleasant walk with some shops and cafés along the way.
