Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Llandudno and follow the signs for the Great Orme. From the town center, take the A470 towards the coastal road. As you approach the Great Orme, turn onto the B5115, which will take you up the hill. Keep following the road until you reach the car park at the Summit Complex. Please note that there may be a parking fee; check local signage for current rates.

• Public Bus

  For those using public transport, you can take the Arriva Cymru bus service from Llandudno town center to the Great Orme. Look for the bus stop near the North Western Hotel. The bus number to look for is 19 (Great Orme). The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the Great Orme Summit Complex. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times to ensure you do not miss your ride back.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk and enjoy the scenic views, you can hike up to the Great Orme Summit Complex from Llandudno. Start from the town center and head towards the Great Orme via the Haulfre Gardens. Follow the path signs leading to the summit. The walk is uphill and can take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on your pace. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk can be strenuous.

• Cable Car

  For a unique experience, consider taking the Great Orme Cable Car. The cable car station is located just off the B5115 road. After arriving in Llandudno, head towards the Great Orme and look for signs to the cable car station. The ride provides stunning views of Llandudno and the coastline. Tickets for the cable car can be purchased at the station; be sure to check the current prices and operating times.
