Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Astley Hall in Chorley, start by getting onto the M6 motorway. Depending on your location in North West England, you may take the A6 or A580 to connect to the M6. If you are coming from Manchester, take the M62 to the M6 Southbound. Exit the M6 at junction 28, and follow the signs for the A674 towards Chorley. Continue on the A674 until you reach the B5252. Take a left turn onto the B5252, which will lead you directly to Astley Hall. There is free parking available on-site.

• Train

  To reach Astley Hall via train, take a train to Chorley railway station. Chorley station is well connected with services from Manchester, Liverpool, and Preston. Upon arriving at Chorley station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located on the main road outside. You can take the number 125 bus towards Astley Village and get off at the Astley Hall stop, which is a short walk from the hall. As of now, a standard train ticket from Manchester to Chorley costs approximately £5-£10, depending on the time of booking.

  If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take the National Express or local buses that connect various towns in North West England to Chorley. For instance, if you're coming from Preston, take the number 2 bus which directly services Chorley.
