Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Nottingham railway station, exit the station and turn right onto Carrington Street. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, passing the Nottingham Contemporary art gallery on your left. Continue until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Greyfriar Gate. Cross the road and turn left onto Greyfriar Gate, then right onto Upper Parliament Street. Keep walking straight, and you will soon see Market Square on your right, just before St. James's Street.

From the Nottingham Castle, exit the castle grounds and head down Nottingham Castle Road. At the bottom, turn left onto Maid Marian Way. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Upper Parliament Street. Cross the road here and turn right. Market Square will be on your left after a short walk, just past the junction with St. James's Street.

If you are at the Victoria Centre shopping mall, exit onto Milton Street and walk towards the tram stop on your left. Instead of taking the tram, walk straight down Milton Street, which becomes Upper Parliament Street. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with St. James's Street. Turn left onto St. James's Street, and Market Square will be right in front of you.
