    From central Oxford, walk to the Oxford Bus Station located at George Street. Take the X4 bus towards Faringdon. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Faringdon' stop. From there, walk to the town center and take the B4019 road towards Uffington. It is about a 3-mile walk to Uffington Castle along this road. Follow the signs for Uffington White Horse as you approach the area.

    Walk to the Oxford Railway Station and take a train to Swindon. The train journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Swindon, transfer to the bus service (the 66 bus) towards Faringdon. Get off at the 'Faringdon' stop. From here, walk approximately 3 miles along B4019 towards Uffington Castle.
