Getting There

• Car

  From anywhere in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, head towards the A487 road. If you are in St Davids, take the B4583 to A487 and continue south. If you are in Tenby, follow the A478 north to join the A487. Follow the A487 towards Fishguard. As you approach Fishguard, look for signs directing you to Fishguard Bay. There are parking facilities available near the bay, which may incur a small fee (around £2-£4 for a day).

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you are using public transportation, check the local bus services such as the 'Pembrokeshire Green' bus routes. Board a bus heading to Fishguard from towns within Pembrokeshire like Haverfordwest or St Davids. The journey typically takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Fishguard, you can walk to Fishguard Bay, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip.

• Public Transportation - Train

  You can also take a train to Fishguard & Goodwick station from major stations like Cardiff or Swansea. Once you arrive at Fishguard & Goodwick station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to Fishguard Bay. Taxis are available outside the station, and a typical fare to Fishguard Bay will be around £5-£10. Train fares vary, so check the National Rail website for specific pricing and schedules.
