Shuttle Bus
Regular shuttle buses operate between Pitlochry town center and Faskally Woods, taking approximately 10 minutes. The service runs on event nights with frequent departures aligned to ticket times. Tickets include shuttle transport, and the service is convenient and avoids parking issues. Expect some queues at peak times.
Car and Park & Ride
Visitors driving to Pitlochry can park at designated car parks such as Blair Athol Distillery or Pitlochry Dam Visitor car park, then take the shuttle bus. Parking is free after 6 pm but spaces fill quickly, so arrive early. Parking wardens are active, so park only in permitted areas.
Walking
From Pitlochry town center, the forest is accessible by a 20-30 minute walk along safe, mostly flat paths. Suitable for most visitors but not recommended for those with mobility issues or in poor weather conditions.
