If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Perthshire. Take the A9 towards Edinburgh. Merge onto the M90 motorway and continue southbound. Follow signs for the A720, also known as the Edinburgh City Bypass. Take the exit for the A7 towards Edinburgh, and continue until you reach Craigmillar Castle Road. Turn right onto Craigmillar Castle Road. The castle will be on your right. There is parking available nearby, but it may incur a small fee.
