If you're driving, start your journey in any part of Renfrewshire and head towards Dumbarton. From the A82, take the exit for the A813 towards Dumbarton. Continue on this road until you reach the town centre. Once in Dumbarton, follow signs for the A814 towards Glasgow. As you approach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A82. After about 1.5 miles, you'll reach a small parking area to the left near the entrance to The Slacks. Make sure to park responsibly.

From here, it’s about a 20-minute walk. Head towards the A82, follow the path leading into the hills, and you will arrive at The Slacks.
