If you are driving from the center of Inverness, head south on Academy Street towards the A82 road. Continue on the A82 for approximately 1 mile (1.6 km). Then take the exit toward A9/Moray Firth/John O'Groats. Merge onto the A9 and continue for about 1.5 miles (2.4 km). Take the exit towards A82/Glasgow. Keep left at the fork and follow the signs for A82. After 0.5 miles (0.8 km), take the exit toward A862/Inverness. Continue straight onto View Place, and the Flora Macdonald statue will be on your left, located in the park area near the river.

Public Transportation
To reach the Flora Macdonald statue using public transport, start at Inverness Bus Station. Take any bus heading towards View Place, such as the number 2 or 8, which both serve this area. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Disembark at the View Place stop, and from there, it's just a short walk to the statue located in the nearby park area. Look for the statue of Flora Macdonald and the Border Collie; it will be a prominent feature in the park.

If you are already in the city center, you can walk to the Flora Macdonald statue. Start at the Inverness Castle, located on Castle Street. From there, head east on Castle Street, then turn left onto Bridge Street. Continue across the bridge and follow the road as it curves right. After about 0.5 miles (0.8 km), you will find View Place on your left. The statue is located in the park area just ahead. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
