Train
From Sheffield city center, head to Sheffield Train Station. You can take a tram from the city center to the station; look for the Yellow or Blue tram lines. Once at the station, board a train heading towards Manchester Piccadilly. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Manchester Piccadilly, follow the signs to the train station exit. Next, you can take the Metrolink tram from Piccadilly Gardens towards Ashton-under-Lyne. Get off at the Etihad Campus stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Etihad Stadium.

From Sheffield city center, head to the bus station located near The Moor. Look for the buses that go to Manchester; X57 is a direct service that takes about an hour. Once you arrive in Manchester, you can either catch a local bus or a tram to the Etihad Campus. If you choose the tram, walk to Piccadilly Gardens, board the tram towards Ashton-under-Lyne, and get off at the Etihad Campus stop. The stadium will be a short walk from the tram stop.
