Turn left onto the A971 and follow it until you reach Sumburgh. Jarlshof Prehistoric and Norse Settlement is located just off the A971 road. There is a car park available on site, and no entry fee is required for parking, but there is an admission fee for accessing the site.

To reach Jarlshof via public transport, take the bus service (Service 14) from Lerwick to Sumburgh. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sumburgh bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes towards the site. Follow the signs for Jarlshof, which will guide you along the A971.
