If you are driving, head towards Caerphilly using the A470 or M4 depending on your starting point. From Cardiff, take the A470 north towards Caerphilly. As you approach the town, follow signs for Caerphilly Castle, which is located on Castle Street. There is a public car park nearby (CF83 1JD) where you can park for a fee. The parking charges are approximately £1.50 for one hour, £3 for two hours, and £5 for the whole day.

For public transport, take a train from Cardiff Central Station to Caerphilly Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Caerphilly Station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. Follow signs for Caerphilly Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk (0.7 miles). Simply head down Station Road, turn right onto Cardiff Road, and continue straight until you reach Castle Street.

You can also take a bus from Cardiff to Caerphilly. Look for services such as the X3 or 26 from Cardiff Central Bus Station. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the castle, which is near Castle Street. From there, it is a short walk to the castle entrance.
