Bus
From Stirling city center, walk to the bus station located at Murray Place. Check the schedule for the number 59 bus heading towards Aberfoyle. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you reach Aberfoyle, get off at the stop near the village center. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2.5 miles (about 40 minutes) to Loch Drunkie. Follow the signs towards the 'Loch Drunkie' trail; the path leads you through scenic woodlands.

Start at Stirling Railway Station. Take a train towards Glasgow and get off at the next stop, Dunblane. From Dunblane station, catch a bus heading to Aberfoyle (check local schedules for the right bus line). Once in Aberfoyle, disembark at the village center and walk the remaining 2.5 miles (about 40 minutes) to Loch Drunkie, following the marked paths to the loch.

For the adventurous, you can walk or cycle from Stirling to Loch Drunkie. Start your journey by heading towards the A84 road, then follow the cycle paths that lead to Aberfoyle. This route takes you through beautiful countryside, but it is approximately 12 miles (about 4-5 hours walking, 1.5-2 hours cycling). Once you arrive in Aberfoyle, head towards the loch, which is about 2.5 miles away.
