Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust located on Henley Street. Head south on Henley Street toward High Street. Turn right onto High Street and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Birmingham Road (A3400). Continue walking along Birmingham Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the bus station. From there, take the bus to Lower Slaughter. Once you arrive in Lower Slaughter, follow Mill Lane, and The Old Mill will be on your left.

    From the Stratford-upon-Avon train station, take a train to Moreton-in-Marsh, which is the nearest train station to Lower Slaughter. Upon arrival at Moreton-in-Marsh, exit the station and take bus number 801 towards Bourton-on-the-Water. Get off at the Lower Slaughter stop. From the bus stop, walk along Mill Lane, and you will find The Old Mill on your left.
