From central Sutherland, head south on the A9 towards Inverness. Continue on the A9 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction for the A836 towards Thurso. Follow the A836 for about 15 miles until you reach the small town of Golspie. From Golspie, take the A9 again heading south. After about 40 miles, take the exit towards Lairg and follow the signs for A839 towards Tain. Continue on the A839 until you reach the junction for the A9 again. Follow the A9 until you reach the A89 exit towards London. Follow the A89 until you reach Archway Road. The Highgate Inn will be on your right at 385 Archway Road, London N6 4ER.

From Sutherland, take the bus to Inverness. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Inverness, catch a train to London Euston Station. Trains leave regularly, and the journey could take approximately 8-10 hours depending on the service. Upon arriving at London Euston, take the Northern Line of the London Underground from Euston Station towards High Barnet or Mill Hill East. Alight at Highgate Station. From Highgate Station, it is a short 10-minute walk to The Highgate Inn located at 385 Archway Road. Exit the station, head towards the Highgate Village and follow the road signs to Archway Road.
