If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Ballynahinch. Head southeast on Main Street towards Church Street. Continue straight onto the Crossgar Road (A24) for approximately 2 miles. Rowallane Garden will be on your left at Crossgar Rd, Saintfield, Ballynahinch BT24 7LH. There is parking available on-site, which is free for National Trust members, but non-members should check for any parking fees.

For public transportation, take a bus to Saintfield from Belfast or Lisburn. The number 38 bus operates frequently between these cities. Once you arrive in Saintfield, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to Rowallane Garden. Head southeast on the Main Street (A7) and take a right onto Crossgar Road (A24). Follow the road until you see the entrance to Rowallane Garden on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as the frequency may vary.
