Car
From Cardiff, take the A470 northbound towards Builth Wells. Continue straight for approximately 40 miles until you reach the roundabout near Builth Wells. Take the second exit onto the A483 and follow the signs for Cilmery. After about 2 miles, turn right onto the B4594 towards Cilmery. Continue for another mile, and you will find the Llywelyn Monument on your left. Free parking is available nearby.

From Cardiff Central Station, take a train to Builth Wells. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Builth Wells station, you can catch a local bus (Service 46) towards Cilmery, which runs approximately every hour. Get off at the Cilmery stop, and from there, it's just a 15-minute walk to the Llywelyn Monument. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest information. The train fare is around £10-£15 one way.
