Walking
If you are starting from Windsor Castle, exit the castle grounds and head towards the main street, Castle Hill. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Thames Street. Turn left onto Thames Street and walk along the riverbank. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the end of the riverside path. At this point, look for a path leading away from the river towards Datchet. Follow this path until you come to a road. Turn right onto the road and continue straight. You will pass through Datchet village. Keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards Beaulieu Close, which is where Boris the Bear is located.
Walking
If you are closer to the train station, exit Windsor & Eton Central station and turn right onto the main road, known as Alma Road. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights, then cross over to the left side of the road. Walk straight ahead until you arrive in Datchet. From Datchet village, navigate towards Beaulieu Close. You should look for signposts or ask locals for directions, as Beaulieu Close is a small side street.
Bus
Catch the bus from the Windsor bus station located near the town centre. Look for the bus that goes towards Datchet or Slough. The bus ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive in Datchet, disembark at the nearest bus stop and head towards Beaulieu Close. It’s advisable to ask the bus driver or locals for specific directions as you approach your destination.
