If you are driving, start from the center of Aigua and head northwest on Route 8 (Ruta 8) towards Montevideo. After approximately 40 kilometers, merge onto Route 1 (Ruta 1) and continue for about 20 kilometers. Take the exit towards Av. 18 de Julio, and you will find the Monumento al Gaucho at Av. 18 de Julio 1452-1500. There is parking available nearby.

If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus from Aigua to Montevideo. Look for buses headed towards Montevideo that stop at the Tres Cruces Terminal.
