Flor del Ceibo: A Serene Escape in Colonia del Sacramento

Getting There

• Walking

  From the city center of Colonia del Sacramento, head south on Avenida General Flores towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 18 de Julio. Turn left onto Calle 18 de Julio and walk until you reach the intersection with Calle Ituzaingó. Turn right onto Calle Ituzaingó, then continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Manuel Lobo. Turn left onto Calle Manuel Lobo and continue straight. After a few blocks, you will find Flor del Ceibo located at G5J2+GR5, which is just a short walk from the waterfront.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start your ride by heading south on Avenida General Flores, then follow the same route as the walking directions: turn left onto Calle 18 de Julio, then right onto Calle Ituzaingó, and left onto Calle Manuel Lobo. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  While Colonia del Sacramento is a small city and public transport options are limited, you can check if there are any local buses heading towards the outskirts of the city. Ask locals or check at the main bus terminal for any routes that might take you close to the area of Flor del Ceibo. If a bus is available, make sure to inform the driver of your destination, G5J2+GR5.
