Day Tour in Colonia del Sacramento
An excellent surprise
We were afraid to purchase this package because the reviews were ambiguous, but our experience was excellent. We went on a Thursday, we arrived at the place in advance and it was very quick to go through check-in and immigration. The ship was super comfortable and allowed outside tours, the only problem was that it was VERY windy that day, so it rocked a lot (and I have labyrinthitis...). Arriving in Colonia de Sacramento, we soon saw the Colonia Express counter that gave access to day tours. The tour with the guide lasts about an hour and a half, it's all in Spanish, but even Portuguese speakers can understand most of it. Then we had lunch at the restaurant that we included in the package, El Refugio, and it was totally worth it because it was well served and delicious. It was a good thing we closed earlier because everything in Colonia de Sacramento is super expensive. After lunch, we walked around the place free until our return and took lots of photos.
