Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the historic center of Colonia del Sacramento, head south on Calle del Comercio towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the Plaza Mayor. From the plaza, walk west towards the Rambla costanera, which runs along the coast. Follow the Rambla south until you reach the intersection with 8 de Octubre. Turn left onto 8 de Octubre and continue walking until you reach number 281, where Vista del muelle sur is located. The total distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take around 20 minutes on foot.

• Bicycle

  You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the historic center. Start your journey heading south on Calle del Comercio. Once you reach the Rambla costanera, turn left and ride along the waterfront. Keep cycling south until you reach the intersection with 8 de Octubre. Make a left turn onto 8 de Octubre and continue until you reach Vista del muelle sur at number 281. The ride will take about 10 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometers.

• Public Transport

  Although Colonia del Sacramento is small and primarily walkable, you can use local buses to navigate more quickly. From the main bus terminal, take a bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop near Plaza Mayor and then follow the walking directions provided for pedestrians, heading towards the Rambla costanera and then south on 8 de Octubre. The total travel time including waiting for the bus will be about 30 minutes.
