    Car

    If you're driving, start from the center of Lavalleja and take Route 8 heading southeast. Follow the road for about 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 1. Take Route 1 towards Montevideo. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 80 kilometers, and as you approach Montevideo, follow the signs for Av. 18 de Julio. Cagancha Square will be located on Av. 18 de Julio. Parking is available along the street, but be aware of any parking fees in the area.

    For public transportation, take a local bus from Lavalleja to Montevideo. Buses such as 'COT' or 'COPSA' operate frequently. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Tres Cruces Bus Terminal in Montevideo, exit the terminal and find the nearby bus stop for routes heading towards the city center.
