• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can reach Barra de Valizas Beach from any location in Litoral by following these directions. Start by heading southeast towards Route 9 (Ruta 9). Continue on Route 9 until you reach the junction with Route 15 (Ruta 15) near the town of Castillos. Take Route 15 heading south towards the town of Barra de Valizas. After approximately 25 km, you will see signs for Barra de Valizas. Follow the signs leading you to the beach area. There may be limited parking available near the beach, and be prepared to pay for parking if required.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Rocha city to Barra de Valizas. Bus services are operated by several companies, and you can catch a bus at the main bus terminal in Rocha. The journey typically takes around 1 hour and costs approximately 150 Uruguayan Pesos. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. Once you arrive at the Barra de Valizas bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
