If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Litoral and head southeast towards Punta del Este. Take Route 10, which will lead you directly towards the city. Once you reach Punta del Este, look for signs directing you to Playa El Emir. The beach is located at the coordinates 23P5+RP2, 26 - Resalsero, 20100 Punta del Este, Departamento de Maldonado. Parking is available near the beach, but there may be a small fee, so keep some change handy.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Litoral to Punta del Este. Buses depart frequently from the main bus terminal in Litoral. Upon arrival in Punta del Este, you can either walk or take a taxi to El Emir beach. The walk will take about 20-30 minutes, as you will need to head towards the coast from the bus station. If you choose a taxi, the fare should be relatively inexpensive, typically around 200-300 Uruguayan pesos, depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are already in Punta del Este and prefer to walk, make your way towards the coastline. Starting from the bus terminal, head east towards Avenida Gorlero, then continue straight until you reach the beach area. Follow the beachfront walkway, and you will find El Emir beach after about a 20-30 minute stroll. This is a scenic route where you can enjoy the ocean views along the way.
