Walking
If you are staying in central Maldonado, start by heading towards Avenida Gorlero. Walk down Avenida Gorlero until you reach the intersection with Calle 27. Turn left onto Calle 27 and continue walking straight. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach the coastline. Follow the coastal path until you see the signs for El Emir Beach (Playa El Emir). It is a beautiful public beach, and you will see it ahead of you with its inviting sands and ocean views.

Bus
From the central Maldonado bus terminal, find the bus line that goes to Punta del Este. Buses are frequent and usually run every 15-30 minutes. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop at Punta del Este, which is about a 15-minute ride. After disembarking, walk towards the beach front. Head to the left along the coast, and you will find El Emir Beach after a short walk of about 10 minutes.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in central Maldonado. Head towards Avenida Gorlero and follow it until you get to Calle 27, then turn left. Continue on Calle 27 until you reach the coast. Once at the beach, turn left and ride along the coast until you reach El Emir Beach. The bike ride is approximately 3 km and offers beautiful views of the coastline.
