Walking
From the center of Maldonado, head east on Calle 18 de Julio towards Avenida Aiguá. Continue straight for about 10 blocks until you reach Avenida Aiguá. Turn left onto Avenida Aiguá and walk for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass through a residential area, and after about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the coast. Playa Brava will be directly ahead.
Bus
From the central bus terminal in Maldonado, take bus line 'Maldonado - Punta del Este' (check the schedule as they run frequently). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at Playa Brava. Get off the bus, and the beach will be just a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Maldonado and head east on Calle 18 de Julio. Ride towards Avenida Aiguá, then turn left onto Avenida Aiguá. Continue cycling straight towards the coast for about 2 kilometers. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, and you will arrive at Playa Brava.
