Car
To reach Ciudad Vieja in Colonia del Sacramento from anywhere in the Northern Region, first, head south on Route 5 or Route 3, depending on your starting point. If you're near Salto, take Route 3 south towards Montevideo. If you're near Paysandú, take Route 5 south towards the intersection with Route 1. Follow the signs for Route 1, which will lead you towards Colonia del Sacramento. Once you reach Colonia, use GPS or follow local signs to navigate to Calle Exodo, G4HX+CMW, where Ciudad Vieja is located. Parking is available nearby, but ensure to check for any parking fees.
Bus
If you prefer public transportation, find a bus terminal in your location (Salto or Paysandú have terminals). Purchase a ticket to Colonia del Sacramento; several companies operate this route, including COT and Copsa. The journey typically takes about 5 to 6 hours.
