Car
If you're driving, head towards Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. From Northern Region, take Route 5 or Route 26 south towards Montevideo. Once you reach Montevideo, continue on the main roads until you find Avenida 18 de Julio, a major thoroughfare. Turn left onto Paraguay Street, and you will find the Department of Historical Studies located at Paraguay 1241. There is street parking available, but be mindful of parking regulations.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from your location in the Northern Region to Montevideo. The 'COT' and 'CUTCSA' bus companies provide service from various towns to Montevideo. Once you arrive at the Tres Cruces Terminal in Montevideo, you can either walk or take a local bus. To walk, exit the terminal and head east on Avenida 18 de Julio, then turn left onto Paraguay Street. The Department of Historical Studies is at Paraguay 1241. Alternatively, you can take a local bus (check local routes) that heads towards Ciudad Vieja or Centro and get off at a stop near Paraguay Street.
