Car
If you are driving to Gorriti Island, start on Route 10 heading towards Punta del Este. Once in Punta del Este, follow signs to the port (Puerto de Punta del Este). There is limited parking available near the port, so plan accordingly. After parking, head to the ferry terminal, where you can purchase tickets for a boat to Gorriti Island. The ferry ride typically takes around 15 minutes.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus to Punta del Este. Buses frequently depart from Montevideo and other cities along the South Coast. Upon arriving in Punta del Este, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards the port (Puerto de Punta del Este), which is about a 15-minute stroll. At the port, locate the ferry terminal and buy your tickets to Gorriti Island. The ferry ride lasts about 15 minutes.

The ferry is the only way to reach Gorriti Island. Once you're at the ferry terminal in Punta del Este, you can buy a round-trip ticket.
