If you are in the central area of Punta del Este, start from the iconic Gorlero Avenue. Head east along Gorlero and continue until you reach the intersection with Calle 20. Turn left onto Calle 20 and walk straight until you reach the coastline. At the coastline, turn right onto Rambla General José Artigas, a beautiful promenade by the sea. Continue walking on the Rambla as it curves along the coastline. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the Faro de Punta del Este, located at 2 de Febrero 9001-9002.

From the central bus terminal in Punta del Este, take a local bus heading towards La Barra or José Ignacio. These buses frequently stop near the coastline. Request the driver to let you off at the stop closest to the lighthouse area, typically at the intersection of Avenida Pedragosa Sierra and Rambla General José Artigas. From the bus stop, walk east along Rambla General José Artigas for about 500 meters until you arrive at Faro de Punta del Este.
