Car
From Sierras de Carapé, start by heading east on Ruta 9. Continue on this highway for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Ruta 39. Turn left onto Ruta 39. Drive for another 10 kilometers, and you will see signs for El Quijote on your right. Follow the signs directing you towards El Quijote. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach Parador do campo, located at 44WJ+FC, 20000 El Quijote, Departamento de Maldonado.
Public Transportation
To reach Parador do campo via public transport, you will first need to take a bus from Sierras de Carapé to the nearest town. Buses heading towards Maldonado depart regularly from the main bus terminal in Sierras de Carapé. Once you arrive in Maldonado, transfer to a local bus that services the El Quijote area. Confirm with the bus driver or at the terminal for the correct route. Note that the total cost for the bus ride might vary, but expect to pay between 100 to 200 Uruguayan Pesos for the journey. Once in El Quijote, ask locals for directions to Parador do campo, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
