Car
If you are driving from the center of Soriano, head east on Route 2 towards Montevideo. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 100 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Montevideo. Take the exit toward Av. 18 de Julio. Follow Av. 18 de Julio until you reach Pl. Independencia. The Artigas Mausoleum is located at Pl. Independencia 848. Parking may be available nearby but be prepared for possible parking fees.
Bus
For those using public transportation, head to the local bus terminal in Soriano. Look for a bus heading to Montevideo. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Montevideo bus terminal, exit and take a short walk to Pl. Independencia. The Artigas Mausoleum is located at Pl. Independencia 848.
