From Soriano, get onto Route 2 (Ruta 2) heading towards Montevideo. Follow Route 2 for approximately 170 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Montevideo. Take the exit for Av. José Batlle y Ordóñez. Continue on Av. José Batlle y Ordóñez for about 3 kilometers, and you will see the Montevideo sign located at the intersection near the Military Museum.
Public Transportation
To reach Montevideo via public transportation from Soriano, first, take a bus from the Soriano Bus Terminal to Montevideo. Companies like COT and CUTCSA operate frequent routes. The bus journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Montevideo Bus Terminal (Terminal Tres Cruces), exit the terminal and take a taxi or rideshare service to Av. José Batlle y Ordóñez. The taxi ride will take around 15 minutes and cost approximately 300-500 Uruguayan Pesos (UYU).
