By Car
From Punta del Este, take Route 10 heading northwest. Continue on Route 10 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 9. Take the exit onto Route 9, continuing for approximately 30 kilometers. Follow signs for Montevideo. As you approach Montevideo, Route 9 merges into Avenida Italia. Continue straight until you reach the Rambla de Montevideo, and then follow the coast until you see signs for Playa Ramirez. The beach will be on your right, and there is parking available near the entrance.

If traveling by bus, head to the bus terminal in Punta del Este or Montevideo. Look for a bus service that goes to Montevideo. The journey will take about 2 hours and costs around 300 to 500 Uruguayan pesos. Upon arrival at the Montevideo bus terminal, take a local bus (Line 148 or 151) towards Playa Ramirez. The bus fare is approximately 40 Uruguayan pesos. The bus will drop you off near the beach entrance.
