Getting There

    If you are driving from the center of Termas de Daymán, start by heading northwest on Avenida del Agua. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Ruta 3. Turn left onto Ruta 3 and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating the Grotto of Padre Pio on your right. Turn onto the unpaved road leading to the Grotto (G4C7+8FM). There is no parking fee, and the site is open for visits at any time.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Grotto of Padre Pio using public transport, start from the main bus terminal in Termas de Daymán. Look for a bus heading towards Paysandú or the surrounding towns. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Grotto of Padre Pio stop. The fare is approximately 50 UYU. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance (about 300 meters) along a dirt path to reach the entrance of the Grotto.

Take the unpaved road leading toward the Grotto. This walk offers a chance to enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding area, but be prepared for uneven terrain.
