From any point in Bear River Valley, head south on US-89 S. Continue for approximately 30 miles until you reach the interchange for I-15 S. Merge onto I-15 S towards Salt Lake City. Stay on I-15 S for about 65 miles. Take exit 308 for 600 S toward downtown Salt Lake City. Continue on 600 S, then turn left onto State St/US-89 S. Follow this road to Philo T. Farnsworth Promenade. The Mormon Battalion Monument will be located along this promenade, easily accessible by car.

To reach the Mormon Battalion Monument via public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Bear River Valley to Logan, UT. From Logan, take the Greyhound bus service to Salt Lake City, which operates several routes daily. Once in Salt Lake City, you can catch the TRAX light rail system (Blue Line) towards Draper. Get off at the Library Station, then transfer to bus route 9 towards the State Capitol. Get off at the stop for Philo T. Farnsworth Promenade, where the monument is located.
