• Car

  To reach Dinosaur National Monument from Book Cliffs, start by getting onto U.S. Route 191 North. Continue on this route for approximately 70 miles. Once you reach the intersection with State Route 149, take a left turn and follow the signs for Dinosaur National Monument. The entrance to the monument is located at 40.5130° N, -108.9487° W. Note that there is an entrance fee of $20 per vehicle, which is valid for up to seven days.

• Public Transportation

  While there is no direct public transportation to Dinosaur National Monument from Book Cliffs, tourists can take a Greyhound bus from Book Cliffs to Vernal. Once in Vernal, you can hire a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the monument, which is about 30 miles away.
