Getting There

Walking
From Bryce Canyon City, start at the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center. Head south on UT-63 for 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with US-89. Turn left onto US-89, and continue walking for approximately 10 miles. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and possibly some wildlife. Once you reach the town of Springdale, continue to the entrance of Zion National Park, where Orderville Gulch is located. The entrance to Zion is on your left. After entering the park, follow the signs to the Zion Canyon Shuttle. Board the shuttle, and take it to the Temple of Sinawava stop. From there, you can hike along the Riverside Walk, which leads you to the beginning of the Narrows. Orderville Gulch is accessible from this area, and you can venture down a bit after doing the main Narrows Trail.

If you have a bike, start at the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center and follow UT-63 south for about 0.5 miles until you reach US-89. Turn left onto US-89, and bike for approximately 10 miles towards Springdale. Enjoy the scenic ride as you make your way to the entrance of Zion National Park. Upon arriving at the park entrance, bike to the Zion Canyon Shuttle station and lock your bike. Take the shuttle to the Temple of Sinawava stop. From there, follow the Riverside Walk to reach the beginning of the Narrows, which leads to Orderville Gulch. Make sure to have proper footwear for the hike.
