Walking
From Bryce Canyon City, start at the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center located at 1 Bryce Canyon Scenic Dr, Bryce, UT 84764. Head south on Bryce Canyon Scenic Drive. Continue on this road for about 3 miles until you reach the junction with the road leading to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance. Once inside, follow the main park road for about 4 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Ponderosa Canyon. The canyon is located in the southern part of the park, and you will find several scenic overlooks along the way.

Biking
Starting from Bryce Canyon City, rent a bike from a local rental service. Head south on Bryce Canyon Scenic Drive. This route is bike-friendly, and you will enjoy the beautiful scenery as you ride. Continue for about 3 miles to reach the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. Once inside, bike along the main park road for approximately 4 miles. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Ponderosa Canyon. The ride can be steep in some areas, so be prepared for a bit of a workout, but the views will be well worth it.
