Walking
From the center of Bryce Canyon City, head east on UT-12. Walk along the sidewalk that follows the road. After approximately 2 miles, you will reach the entrance to Dixie National Forest. Continue straight for another half mile, and you will find the Red Canyon Campground on your left side, just before the red rock formations.

If you have a bicycle, start at the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center. Head east on UT-12, using the bike lane. The ride is about 2.5 miles. You will see signs for Dixie National Forest. Once you reach the campground, you can park your bike at the designated bike racks near the entrance.

Shuttle Service
During peak tourist season, there is a shuttle service available from Bryce Canyon City to various points of interest, including Dixie National Forest. Check with the local visitor center for shuttle schedules. Board the shuttle that indicates 'Dixie National Forest' and enjoy the scenic ride. The shuttle will drop you close to the Red Canyon Campground.
