Getting There

• Car

  To reach Top Of The World in Moab from Cache Valley by car, begin your journey from Logan, UT. Head south on US-89 S toward US-91 S. Merge onto I-15 S and continue for about 45 miles. Take exit 260 for I-70 E toward Denver. Follow I-70 E for approximately 135 miles. Take exit 182 for US-191 S toward Moab. Continue on US-191 S for about 30 miles until you reach Moab. From Moab, follow signs to the Top Of The World trailhead, which is approximately 20 miles from the town center. Note that the last stretch may require a high-clearance vehicle due to rough terrain. There may be no entrance fees, but ensure to have enough fuel for the trip and check local conditions.

• Public Transportation + Car

  If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Logan, UT to Salt Lake City. From Salt Lake City, take a Greyhound bus to Moab. Once you arrive in Moab, you will need to rent a car to reach Top Of The World. Head out of the town on US-191 S and follow the same route as described above. Renting a car can cost anywhere from $40 to $100 per day. Make sure to check for available rental services in Moab beforehand.

• Bicycle (if adventurous)

  For the adventurous, consider biking from Moab to Top Of The World. Once in Moab, rent a mountain bike from one of the local shops. The trail to Top Of The World is approximately 20 miles with steep climbs. Ensure you are physically prepared for this challenge and carry sufficient water and snacks. There may be rental fees for the bike, which can range from $30 to $70 per day.
