If you are traveling by car within Canyonlands National Park, start from the Island in the Sky Visitor Center. Head south on the main park road (Utah State Route 313) for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction to the Needles District. Follow the signs towards the Needles District. Once you arrive at the Needles Visitor Center, park your car and head to the trailhead for the Broken Arch hike. The trailhead is located about 4 miles from the visitor center. Look for signs directing you to the parking area. The hike to Broken Arch is about 1.5 miles round trip.
