Car
If you are driving, start from the Arches National Park Visitor Center, located at 2282 Arches Entrance Rd, Moab, UT 84532. Head east on Arches Entrance Rd for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance of the park. After passing through the entrance station, continue on Arches National Park Road for approximately 7 miles. Look for the Sand Dune Arch parking area on your right. The parking lot is small and can fill up quickly during peak hours, so arrive early if possible.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, check for local shuttle services that operate in the Moab area, such as the Moab Adventure Center or the local city shuttle. These services typically provide transportation to and from the Arches National Park Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, follow the directions provided for car travel to reach Sand Dune Arch. Note that there may be fees associated with the shuttle service, so check their websites for current pricing and schedules.
Walking
Once you arrive at the Sand Dune Arch parking area, the trailhead is easily accessible. From the parking lot, follow the well-marked trail for about a 0.3-mile walk.
