From the Island in the Sky Visitor Center, head south on the Grand View Point Road (State Route 313) for about 12 miles until you reach the junction with US-191. Turn right (south) onto US-191 and continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the town of Moab. Once in Moab, turn left onto Sand Flats Road. Follow Sand Flats Road for about 3.5 miles, where you will see signs for Lion's Back. Look for a parking area just before the Lion's Back scenic viewpoint.
