Turn left onto Mill Creek Drive and follow it until you reach Sand Flats Road. Turn right onto Sand Flats Road and continue until you reach the entrance of Sand Flats Recreation Area. The ride is approximately 3 miles and will take about 15-20 minutes.

From downtown Moab, make your way to Main Street. Walk east towards Center Street and turn left. Continue straight until you reach Mill Creek Drive. Turn left onto Mill Creek Drive and follow it until you reach Sand Flats Road. Turn right on Sand Flats Road and walk for about 1.5 miles until you arrive at the Sand Flats Recreation Area entrance. This walk is approximately 4 miles and will take around 1.5 hours.
